TRAVEL INFORMATION
Car park tickets will be on sale closer to the event.
Parking tickets must be purchased in advance. There is no parking permitted on the residential streets around the park. Parking is within the park, not outside.
Please follow the yellow event signage to the concert car park, the entrance to the car park is off Altrincham Road, vehicles can only access the car park by turning left from Altrincham Road.
Parking restrictions are in place on the roads around Wythenshawe park. Parking is not permitted on the residential roads around the park, unauthorised parked vehicles may be towed.
The closest tram stop to Wythenshawe Park is Moor Road (What 3 Words ///work.bulb.early), which is on the airport line.

From the stop, it is then a 20 minute walk through the park. Please walk down Bideford Drive to enter the park from Moor Road tram stop.
Services will operate every seven and a half minutes to and from the park.
To allow for the safe management of crowds post-event, both Wythenshawe Park and Baguley tram stops will be closed after 10pm.
Please use the Moor Road tram stop, which will be signposted from inside the park. Before travelling on the tram you will need to purchase a ticket, either by buying one from the ticket machines on the tram stop or by using your contactless card – just touch in before you hop on the tram and then touch out at the end of your journey.
There is a secure cycle park outside of Wythenshawe Hall, with security and CCTV. If you are going to ride to the site, remember to bring a bike lock, pack bike lights and wear a helmet. Please do not drink and ride.

If travelling into Manchester by rail, you can then transfer to tram to complete your journey to the venue.
From Manchester Piccadilly take a tram to St Peter’s Square and then transfer on to the Airport line for trams to Moor Road (approximately 40 minutes).
From Manchester Victoria you can take a direct tram on the Airport line to Moor Road (approximately 35 minutes).
From Manchester Airport Station you can take a direct tram on the Airport line to Moor Road (approximately 25 minutes).
Lots of events are taking place in Manchester City Centre over the bank holiday weekend. If you are travelling from the south of the city to Manchester by train, it will be quicker to alight at Manchester Airport and then take a tram to Moor Road.

Access parking is available, you need to bring your blue badge or request accessible parking through the access request form.

If you have to drive, did you know that there are Park and Ride sites in Greater Manchester, where you can park your car for free and hop on the tram to your destination?
The nearest Park and Ride sites to Wythenshawe Park are:
- Sale Water Park M23 2LX (285 spaces, 16 disabled spaces)
- East Didsbury M19 1RJ (278 spaces, 18 disabled spaces)
If you park at Sale Water Park, you can take the tram directly to Moor Road in less than 10 minutes.
If you park at East Didsbury, take the tram to St Werburgh’s Road and then transfer to the Airport line for Moor Road.
Before travelling on the tram you will need to purchase a ticket either by buying one at the ticket machines or by using contactless – just touch-in at the start and then out at the end of you journey using the on-stop machines.
